Mozambique is one of the last frontiers when it comes to surf. With close to 2500 km of coastline, there is a bounty of undiscovered surf spots littered along this pristine stretch of Africa's edge. With water temperatures in the mid 20s (C) you can surf without a wetsuit until June.
Tofo Bay is an excellent for surfers who are learning or for long boarders, and Tofinho offers a world-class sand bottom, right-hand point break that attracts experienced surfer. During the summer months it’s often wind affected, but in the winter months, early morning glass-offs are a regular occurrence.
